Ronald A. Stine, M.D., F.A.C.C.
Dr. Stine received his undergraduate degree from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana in 1975, and his medical degree from Indiana University in Indianapolis, Indiana in 1978. He completed his Internal Medicine internship, residency, and Cardiology fellowship programs at Ohio State University Hospitals in Columbus, Ohio.
Dr. Stine is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Interventional Cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine, and is licensed in Nuclear Cardiology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, and the American College of Physicians. He has served as President of both the Tidewater Chapter of the American Heart Association and the Tidewater Cardiovascular Society. Dr. Stine is an Associate Professor of Clinical Internal Medicine at Eastern Virginia Medical School.
Dr. Stine’s primary interests include interventional cardiology, peripheral vascular intervention, as well as nuclear cardiology. He has helped develop acute intervention guidelines for myocardial infarction for the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. Dr. Stine has a special interest in clinical research including 42 different clinical research projects in which his cardiology group has participated.
