Dr. Shah received his undergraduate degree from Vidynanagar Higher Secondary School, Ahmedabad, India in 1979, and his medical degree from SMT.N.H.L. Muni Medical College in Ahmedabad, India in 1984. He then completed a rotating internship at SMT.N.H.L. Muni Medical College in 1985. Dr. Shah completed his training in Internal Medicine, as well as his fellowship in Cardiology, at State University of New York, HSC at Brooklyn, NY. Since completing his training in 1995, Dr. Shah has practiced cardiology in the Hampton Roads area.

Dr. Shah is board certified In Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is also board certified in Nuclear Cardiology by the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology. He is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Internal Medicine at Eastern Virginia Medical School.

Dr. Shah’s area main area of interest is Nuclear Cardiology, as well as all aspects of general cardiology.
