Scott A. Robertson, M.D., F.A.C.C.

Dr. Robertson has been with Cardiology Consultants, Ltd. since 2002. He received his undergraduate degree (B.A. with Distinction), as well as M.D. degree from the University of Virginia, where he was a Jefferson Scholar from 1985-1989, and a member of Alpha Omega Alpha. Dr. Robertson completed his residency at the University of Virginia, and his cardiology training at Wake Forest University/Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC, with fellowships in cardiology and in advanced interventional cardiology. Since completion of his training in 2002, he has practiced cardiology in the Hampton Roads area.

Dr. Robertson is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, and Interventional Cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine, and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.

Dr. Robertson has been on the Sentara Best Practices Committee since 2005, and is presently Chairman of that committee, and is also a member of the Cardiac Diagnostic Unit Committee for Sentara Hospitals.

Areas of interest include interventional cardiology, peripheral vascular intervention, nuclear cardiology, and transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography.
