Thomas Klevan, M.D., F.A.C.C.
Dr. Klevan received his undergraduate degree from Yale University, with a B.A. in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry, in 1977. He then received his medical degree from Yale in 1981. He completed his Internal Medicine training at that same institution, as well as his fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease, and fellowship in PTCA and Cardiac Catheterization. During the time of his latest fellowship he was also concurrently serving at the West Haven Veterans Administration Medical Center as an attending in the cardiac catheterization laboratory, as well as Director of the exercise laboratory and cardiac rehabilitation service. Dr. Klevan has been in the Hampton Roads area since completing his training in 1987.
Dr. Klevan is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Interventional Cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is also Assistant Professor of Clinical Internal Medicine at Eastern Virginia Medical School. He has been active at Sentara Hospitals-Norfolk on the Quality Improvement Committee, the Endovascular Committee, as well as the Peripheral Vascular Intervention Committee.
Dr. Klevan’s areas of interest include interventional cardiology, peripheral vascular intervention, as well as nuclear cardiology.
